We’ve long been fans of making sun prints. It’s a perfect no-mess outdoor activity that makes everyone feel like a brilliant abstract artist. The only downside is the paper (Super Sunprint Kit, shown above) is a bit on the pricey side.
That’s why we were so excited to see this on More Mom Time. Construction paper! (File this one under D for Duh, why didn’t I think of that?)

These blocks from Miller Goodman are as near to a perfect product as I can imagine. Simple, smart, and both fuel and flame for the imagination. The only thing I enjoy as much as watching my daughter play with them, is playing with them myself. Certain to be in stores worldwide soon, but available now from the Miller Goodman website.

Loving the idea behind Draw Like a Monkey TV on Vimeo. They’re collecting videos of various artist’s in the act of drawing. Having been inspired by watching my dad draw while growing up, it seemed like a particularly wonderful thing to share. Check it out.
